Ross’s Comments – What you Need to Know about Echo Brickell

Echo Brickell combines the innovative architecture of Carlos Ott and interior design of yoo Studio.

The curved glass facade of the building is striking, beautiful and dramatic, and will be a fantastic addition to the east Brickell neighborhood.

These luxury residences feature 6 to 8 foot deep terraces with outdoor kitchens, 10 to 14 foot ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, Apple home technology, high-tech security, and will be delivered fully finished.

Due to the curvatures and design of the building, each floor plate has slightly different dimensions and will consist of 6 units (9-27th levels), 4 units (28-31st and 37-43rd levels), 3 units (44-48th levels), 2 units (LPH 49-53rd levels) or 1 unit (PH 54-57th levels) per floor.

Due to the neighboring Brickell East Condo tower (28 floors), the best direct and open bay views will be a above the amenity levels (32-36th levels) on the 38th floor and higher.

Continuing with the trend of robotic and automated parking systems, the building will offer valet only robotic parking system as well.

The Brickell district is an urban neighborhood of greater Downtown Miami situated on the south side of the Miami River, which serves as Miami and South Florida’s major financial district. Brickell is also a dense, high-rise residential neighborhood with many upscale, luxury condominium, and apartment towers.

Referred to as the “Manhattan of the South,” Brickell is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, as well as many popular Miami restaurants, shops, hotels, offices and places of entertainment. A few hundred feet east of the northeastern side of Brickell is Brickell Key, a gated island of exclusive, high-rise residential towers and the Mandarin Oriental Miami Hotel.

As of 2013, over 220,000 office employees work in the Downtown and Brickell areas. Today, the Brickell and Downtown Miami neighborhoods are the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Miami, growing from 40,000 residents in 2000 to 74,000 in 2013 with a median household income of $70,800.

The biggest driver in the area is the development of Brickell City Centre, a massive 5.4 million square foot mixed use project spanning four city blocks. It will consist of two luxury residential towers, a hotel and an office building, all connected by a high rise and open air shopping center with extensive entertainment, retail, restaurant and other offerings. Although Brickell is already considered a highly desirable to “live, work and play”, the addition of Brickell City Centre is going to be a major game changer for the city of Miami.
