Ross’s Comments – What you Need to Know about Santa Maria
Although nearly 20 years since laying its foundations, Santa Maria continues to be regarded as one of Brickell’s most prestigious addresses and is rightfully ranked in the top 20 of the Ross100.
The 51st floor fitness center, spa and common areas have some of the most incredible vistas of the bay, with the additional 6000 SF Santa Maria mansion as a private clubhouse for residents and guests.
The circular shaped corner, or end units, offer some of the biggest views in the Brickell area that span 270 degrees over the city, bay and Key Biscayne.
Eighteen of these end units (01 and 02 lines) are two story residences with 20 foot ceilings in the family / great room and over 5700 SF of living space on two levels.
The community also offers 14 boat slips that are finger piers and can handle larger vessels directly in front of the building.
Several features further enhance one’s privacy and security at Santa Maria, including a guard gate to enter the gated community, a 24 HR concierge in the lobby, and private elevators to one’s residence.

BRICKELL DISTRICT
The Brickell district is an urban neighborhood of greater Downtown Miami situated on the south side of the Miami River, which serves as Miami and South Florida’s major financial district. Brickell is also a dense, high-rise residential neighborhood with many upscale, luxury condominium, and apartment towers.
Referred to as the “Manhattan of the South,” Brickell is home to the largest concentration of international banks in the United States, as well as many popular Miami restaurants, shops, hotels, offices and places of entertainment. A few hundred feet east of the northeastern side of Brickell is Brickell Key, a gated island of exclusive, high-rise residential towers and the Mandarin Oriental Miami Hotel.
As of 2013, over 220,000 office employees work in the Downtown and Brickell areas. Today, the Brickell and Downtown Miami neighborhoods are the fastest-growing neighborhoods in Miami, growing from 40,000 residents in 2000 to 74,000 in 2013 with a median household income of $70,800.
The biggest driver in the area is the development of Brickell City Centre, a massive 5.4 million square foot mixed use project spanning four city blocks. It will consist of two luxury residential towers, a hotel and an office building, all connected by a high rise and open air shopping center with extensive entertainment, retail, restaurant and other offerings. Although Brickell is already considered a highly desirable to “live, work and play”, the addition of Brickell City Centre is going to be a major game changer for the city of Miami.
